In a joint action of inspectors from the Department of Control and Investigations of the Customs Administration with the Department of the Crime Police – Department of Economic Crime and Corruption of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and inspectors from the Public Revenue Administration and the Market Inspection, almost half a ton of hookah tobacco, electronic cigarettes, as well as e-cigarette liquid were seized.
On January 26, 2023, at several locations in Skopje as part of the coordinated action, a control was carried out in which unmarked excise products without excise stamps were discovered and seized, of which 454 kg of hookah tobacco, 2,290 pieces of electronic cigarettes with content of 15,130 milliliters of liquid for electronic cigarettes.
