After the State Commission for Prevention of Corruption (SCPC) announced that it will submit an initiative for criminal prosecution of the head of the Agency for Youth and Sports (AYS), former handball player Naumche Mojsovski, due to suspicions that the Agency abused the voucher system for financing foundations and sports clubs, the Olympic Committee also reacted.
In the open letter sent to the Government, the Committee is also asked to stop the procedure for awarding vouchers for 2023, which is currently ongoing, until the election of new members of the Central Commission at AYS.
“This is about millions of sums distributed without any control and mechanisms,” added the letter from the Committee.
The SCPC seeks criminal prosecution of Naumche Mojsovski for abuse of the system for financing sports clubs.
