ARM starts preparations for sending aid to Turkey

The Macedonian Ministry of Defense informs that the Army has started preparations and is already sending a trained search and rescue team to Turkey.
The team is made up of members of the Special Forces Battalion and two handlers with service dogs trained for tracking by the Training and Doctrine Command.

At yesterday’s extraordinary session, the Macedonian Government tasked the Ministry of Defense within its competences to urgently prepare and submit to the Government a decision on providing adequate assistance in personnel, equipment in the form of mechanization, tents, mattresses, blankets, heaters and other appropriate assistance.
