The call for subsidized flights from the two airports in the country has been canceled and a new one will be announced. The commission for the evaluation of the offers submitted by the airlines Wizz Air, Lufthansa and Aegean Airlines concluded that they did not submit the prescribed complete documentation and canceled the call.
A Commission made up of members from several state institutions evaluated the submitted offers and the Commission concluded that the airlines did not submit the complete documentation stipulated in the conditions of the public call.
They expect the Commission to announce a new public call for financial support for new airlines for the period 2023-2025 as soon as possible.
