The organizers say that the march will be an expression of “a protest against the collective neglect of women and girls in every respect – from the growing rates of violence, femicides, daily social and health injustices and economic insecurity, to the high poverty that especially affects women.

Gender Equality Platform’s representative Jana Kocevska stated at a press conference that the purpose of the march, entitled “Will women survive here?”, is to fight for changing policies to improve conditions in society, because women and girls are still discriminated against and do not have in addition to realized rights and opportunities at home, at work, in politics and in social life.
