Due to the COVID pandemic, these numbers were lower in the past two years, five to eight children each. This year, in two months, we have diagnosed 11 cases of TB, and about 20 with latent tuberculosis infection, the director of the Zeqiri hospital told MIA.
The doctor explained that six children are currently being treated at their hospital’s tuberculosis department and all are in a stable condition.
