VMRO-DPMNE MP Dragan Kovachki responded to Defense Minister Slavjanka Petrovska’s attempts to discredit him personally.
“I do not consider myself a shadow defense minister. I am a Member of the Parliament of the Republic of Macedonia. You are part of the executive branch and should be accountable to us MPs, not the other way around. Secondly, for the fact that you are sure of your claim that the detention of the operatives was a fabricated event, stand up and tell the Macedonian public why you are hiding and whether the detained members of the military intelligence were investigating a multi-year phenomenon of smuggling of excise goods and other goods from by members of the mission in Kosovo?, Kovachki said.
