Macedonian Prime Minister Dimitar Kovachevski, at the joint press conference with Prime Minister of Croatia Andrej Plenković, commented on Croatia’s model of the Constitution, which was proposed by the opposition VMRO-DPMNE.
“I think we need a consensus on the issue of our EU membership. The opposition is looking for a Croatian model, another party mentioned a Swiss model, but we need a model that will suit the Macedonian society and our laws. “I am to adopt constitutional amendments that will open the clusters and become a member state of the EU by year 2030 with a protected Macedonian language and with a protected culture and identity,” PM Kovachevski said.
