Only 10 percent of the planned activities in the four-year strategy of the state to fight corruption were completed last year, informed the State Commission for the Prevention of Corruption (SCPC).
Such results for some of the representatives of the international factor in the country are disappointing. European Ambassador David Geer said that the European integration progress of Macedonia will depend a lot on how much the country will deal with the problems of corruption in all areas of society and ordered the government along with the opposition to unite in this fight and to act on the recommendations of the State Commission for the Prevention of Corruption (SCPC), and the State Audit Office. USAID says that they will continue to help Macedonia in this fight, but that progress depends only on the country.
