Non-transparency in the procedure can produce corruption, that’s why we asked for insight into the Bechtel-Enka contract, says opposition MP

It is completely legitimate that we requested an inspection of the contract for the construction of Corridors 8 and 10D with the US-Turkish consortium, and there is no logic in the request being rejected, pointed out MP Toni Jarevski from the ranks of VMRO-DPMNE.

“Why is the problem so big with these legal changes? For the most part, they are aimed at suspending the state and institutions, because there is no need for requests, approvals and procedures for constructions,” Jarevski said.

The opposition MP claims that non-transparency always by definition produces corruption and in non-transparent conditions like this appears a form of corruption.
