Two-thirds of citizens believe that the Internet has a negative impact on children, according to the latest public opinion survey conducted by the Skopje Institute for Political Research for Detektor.
According to the survey, 66.6% of citizens evaluate the impact of the Internet on children as negative, and 24.3% believe that it has a positive impact. According to the ethnic structure, 71.3% of Macedonians believe that the Internet has a negative impact on children, while among ethnic Albanians this percentage is 49.4%. 20.4% of Macedonians and 37.9% of ethnic Albanians see a positive influence of the Internet on children.
As many as 34.8% of those surveyed who are under 30 years old spend more than 4 hours on the Internet every day.
