When you are aligning your legislation with the legislation of the EU, the EU standards, then you can use the system of EU flag. As regards the laws related to the Bechtel-Enka project, our concern is the use of the EU flag here, which is inappropriate given there is no alignment of EU legislation, EU Ambassador David Geer told reporters on Wednesday.
At today’s promotion of the projects of 45 civil society organizations, implemented within the framework of the Regional Program for Local Democracy in the Western Balkans 2 – ReLOaD2, he pointed out that the use of the EU flag should always be done after prior real consultation between all political parties and it is for alignment of EU legislation.
