It has been exactly a year and a half since the Ministry of Health and the Government confirmed in action that they did absolutely nothing to reduce the damage to the state budget for the biggest strategic mistake in healthcare, which is the termination of the contract for the Mother Teresa Clinical Center, head of the VMRO-DPMNE health committee Igor Nikolov pointed out on Sunday.
Claims for termination of the contract for the construction of a clinical center are penalties of about 18 million euros or 2 and a half times more than the cost of a Pediatric Hospital, like the one in Kozle, for example.
“An arbitration procedure is underway to terminate the contract, but this process is completely non-transparent, and the entire procedure is stuck in the relationship between the Ministry of Health and the Government. In the meantime, the Government is not fooling around with the termination of directors within the Mother Teresa campus clinics,” said Nikolov.
