Klekovski: It will be difficult to come up with a solution plan for EU integration without elections

In an interview with Sitel TV News, VMRO-DPMNE Executive Committee member Sasho Klekovski pointed out that VMRO-DPMNE offered solutions and options for the protection of the national interest and integration into the EU, but SDSM refused.
“We welcome the steps in the Bundestag, we have no information about others, we think that it is a step in the right direction, but it is not enough. The Bundestag was not the problem that caused Macedonia’s veto, it was Bulgaria. And until we get enough assurance that on the further path to the EU we will not be faced with new blackmailed obstacles on a non-principled basis, as Bulgaria has shown that it can do, we are not ready to go further with the constitutional amendments,” stressed Klekovski.
“I think that at this moment it is very difficult that we will come to a solution plan for EU integration without elections. Since it is clear that the offered option, we had an offered option to immediately form a new government and that new government brought constitutional amendments with delayed effect, we offered an option that is obviously not acceptable as the previous proposals of VMRO-DPMNE were also not acceptable . So it seems to me that at this moment it becomes certain that a solution without elections is almost impossible, no matter what happens,” Klekovski pointed out.
