The Bulgarian foundation “Macedonia” invites Macedonian citizens to take out extracts from the registers en masse in which they will declare themselves as “Bulgarians”, after which, for only 250 Macedonian denars, they will receive Bulgarian citizenship.
“According to the new law you can renew the birth certificate and it says nationality: Bulgarian. Now we are checking whether this will give you the opportunity to get Bulgarian citizenship for sure, but if it says Bulgarian on your certificate, you should definitely get Bulgarian citizenship based on Bulgarian origin and self-awareness. Get your statements from North Macedonia, in which the nationality of a Bulgarian is written. It costs MKD 250,” reads the Foundation’s Facebook post.
