The mayor of the Macedonian tourist center Ohrid, Kiril Pecakov, urgently called the municipal crisis headquarters after the strong storm that hit the city on the banks of Lake Ohrid.
“From the initial information we have, traffic is difficult on certain streets due to the heavy rainfall and the large amount of water that is still flowing, there are reports of flooded homes, yards, houses, and the damage to agricultural crops will obviously be huge because the storm that lasted more than half an hour was followed by hailstorms the size of hazelnuts and walnuts,” said Pecakov.
