Ali Ahmeti’s nephew, the young Drin Ahmeti with an “entrepreneurial spirit”, also received state funds from the Innovation Fund, said VMRO-DPMNE in a press release on Sunday.
Apart from a concession for a quarry, a concession for a hydropower plant, a shopping center without spending a penny, Ali Ahmeti’s nephew also tried his hand as an innovator. He received 82 thousand euros from the innovation fund. Namely, on May 10, 2022, two companies owned by Drin Ahmeti, “Tor Industries” and “Everest JD” received state funds for co-financing innovations. Since January 2022, the Innovation Fund has been led by DUI staff, Festim Halili, who, according to the photos published in the media, is considered a close friend of Drin Ahmeti’s family.
And out of so many young and innovative people in Macedonia, Ali Ahmeti’s nephew was given money by the institution led by Ali Ahmeti’s staff.
