The Mayor of the City of Skopje, Danela Arsovska, at a press conference on Monday regarding the problems in the Public Enterprise Communal Hygiene, stressed that over thirty people received a higher salary of up to 35 percent, and never once showed up for work. As she said, they lived in Germany, and received “pocket money” from the first to the 15th of the month in the form of a salary from the Communal Hygiene.
Certain structures used pressure and threats in the PE, the legal system must function.
“Mafia cannot run our country,” said Arsovska.
The mayor pointed out that they caught people who had permanently emigrated to Germany and were still getting paid.
She added that no person should get paid without going to work.
