The Ministry of Education and Science (MES) concluded an agreement with Sparkasse Bank AD Skopje for the realization of payments for subsidized student meals, with which the funds will be used exclusively for providing healthy meals to students. The signing of the protocol for the implementation of the measure was attended by the Minister of Education and Science Jeton Shaqiri and the President and Deputy President of the Board of Directors of Sparkasse Bank Sanel Kusturica and Nina Nedanoska.
“In the new academic year, students will receive the funds on a dedicated payment card. This is the system solution with which students, just like their European colleagues, receive financial support only for the purpose for which they are separated from the budget of the Ministry of Education and Science – to help them provide a healthy meal for the students,” Shaqiri said.
