The mechanical and executive staff of the Macedonia Railway Transport will start a boycott Monday from 1 p.m., with a complete blocking of rail traffic throughout the country. As the representative of the mechanical and executive staff and president of the Union of Train Drivers, Toni Dimovski, told MIA, the boycott is due to the unpaid second part of the salary for June, but also to increase the coefficients.
“The boycott is also for starting negotiations or a response to change and supplement the systematization, because we have knowledge that 230 solutions have been distributed with raising the coefficients of certain jobs,” Dimovski pointed out.
According to Dimovski, on November 2, 2021, a Decision was made according to which, if the salary for the previous month is not paid in full by the 25th of the month, on the 26th, the mechanical and executive staff will begin a boycott and blockade of railway traffic.
