The growth in the number of jobs and exports in the Technological-Industrial Development Zones – TIDZ continues, according to the regular monthly analysis of the Directorate of TIDZ. As of July, the number of jobs increased by 14% compared to the same period last year and reached over 17,150. Just since the beginning of the year, almost 900 new workers have been employed in TIDZ companies.
“The growth of exports continues as well, which as of July exceeded the limit of 2 billion euros. In July alone, exports are 336 million euros, which is 20% higher than July last year. Compared to the beginning of the year, exports in the zones have increased by 22%,” informed TIDZ.
Imports in 7 months reached over 1.8 billion euros.
“Only in July of this year, companies in TIDZ made imports of 261 million euros, which is 13% higher compared to July 2022. Compared to the beginning of the year, imports in the zones have increased by 15 percent,” added TIDZ.
