The living standard of citizens is in decline. The realistic salary in Macedonia has dropped by 5.2%. The people are getting poorer, said VMRO-DPMNE in a press release on Monday.

“The value of salaries, pensions and other incomes of citizens has decreased. Macedonia had one of the highest inflation rates in Europe and it is still high. The people face increasing prices every day and it is getting harder and harder to get through the month. The prices in the markets go up every day, and after 100 items a day they have more expensive prices. And while the people are getting poorer with SDS and DUI, there are shady tenders, secret deals and huge profits for the companies that lead to the top of the government,” said the largest opposition party.
