As expected, despite the Government’s false promises, the new school year will start once again without textbooks, even though the Law on Basic Education says that students should have free textbooks on September 1st. Vesna Janevska from the ranks of VMRO-DPMNE said at a press conference on Thursday.
“On the contrary, certain textbooks will not be available, and for them there will be learning materials in electronic form, i.e. in PDF format. This means that students will again be discriminated against, as the Anti-Discrimination Commission concluded, and that a certain number of students will once again learn from scripts or photocopies,” said Janevska.
