No Macedonian nationals have died in the wildfires in Greece; three citizens have been evacuated, one of them after being treated for burns in a Alexandroupoli hospital, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said citing latest official information.
“The driver was treated for burns at the local hospital. In the immediate vicinity, there is also a second truck with Macedonian license plates, which, due to a mechanical defect, is not in driving condition. The three of our citizens, who were in the two trucks, were evacuated in time and are on their way to North Macedonia,” the MFA said in a press release on Thursday.
