Citizens, companies and institutions invested 18.6 million euros in July in non-life insurance. Of the voluntary insurances, property insurance has the largest share in sales, before comprehensive motor vehicle insurance and voluntary (private) health insurance.
In the height of the summer vacation season, almost 80,000 citizens bought travel insurance in July alone. Citizens have invested over 42 million denars (685,000 euros) in this product, which insures risks when traveling abroad, according to the data submitted to the Insurance Supervision Agency (ASO) by all 11 non-life insurance companies.
