Public Enterprise Drisla Landfill informs that the fire that broke out early Tuesday morning has been extinguished and the company continues with regular activities.
“The police have made an inspection and a record, and they will act according to their powers. At the same time, we call on the Ministry of Interior and the Basic Public Prosecutor’s Office to investigate the case in detail and that the perpetrators be found and punished accordingly, and against the persons who spread lies and misinformation about the Drisla landfill, appropriate procedures will be initiated by the company,” said the public enterprise.
Meanwhile, the State Environmental Inspectorate (SIE) confirmed that the fire was localized and extinguished around 8:30 Tuesday morning, after which the fire service and the service of the Ministry of Interior – Skopje were informed.
