Prevented illegal trade of 4 tons of pills and gel for oral use for potency worth MKD 41.7 million risky for the health of the citizens, after customs inspectors from the Department of Control and Investigations determined during a detailed examination of the goods that the company that had brought the goods into the state does not have a valid solution for wholesale trade in drugs and medical devices.
At the same time, the product is a medicine that is not registered in the Register of Medicines maintained by the Agency for Medicines and Medical Devices of the Republic of N. Macedonia and is declared differently.
Due to the existence of suspicion that the defendant has committed a crime of illegal trade, which is punishable under Article 277 of the Criminal Code, the goods have been confiscated, and an appropriate criminal complaint will be filed against the legal entity to the Basic Public Prosecutor’s Office in Skopje.
