Macedonian healthcare is facing serious challenges and it is not only in the health department, but we see it in education, which is very similar, Dr. Sashko Kedev pointed out in an interview with Central News’ “Topic of the day”.
“The challenges in health are very similar to the challenges in the education department and I personally think that a way out of this situation must be found because things are not going in the right direction and we definitely need serious reforms,” Kedev said.
Kedev pointed out that the emphasis should be on public health, profit cannot be the driving force in the development of health. Unfortunately, that segment is very influential. He added that there is potential because we have many good doctors who still work in public health.
