The third protest regarding the Oncology Clinic scandal was held in front of the Skopje Public Prosecutor’s Office (PPO). Affected patients said that they want the investigation to be fast, especially in the part of the medicines, so that, as they say, those who are most affected know how to continue their treatment.
The patients from the Oncology Clinic or the people who were affected through a loved one are protesting for the second week in a row in front of the Public Prosecutor’s Office with the same demands.
Two members who were sent Saturday to have an insight into the investigation, report that they again asked the PPO to call all patients who were refused or delayed therapy.
On Friday, the Parliament decided to establish a Inquiry Committee that will monitor the pre-examination procedure in the PPO. The committee will have 13 members, while the chairt will be from the ranks of the opposition VMRO-DPMNE, as they are the proposers for the formation of the committee.
