The Macedonian nationals who were staying in a hotel near the monastery in the village of Banjska in the north of Kosovo, where an armed attack took place on Sunday, have safely headed home Monday morning, accompanied by the Kosovo police.
Foreign Minister Bujar Osmani posted on Facebook that they are headed home after the Kosovo police had carried out a routine interview and analysis procedure.
“After a routine interview and analysis procedure carried out by the police of the Republic of Kosovo, our citizens safely headed home this morning, accompanied by the Kosovo police. The circumstances in which they found themselves were complex, given that they were staying in a hotel in the immediate area where the armed attack on the police took place,” Osmani said in the post.
