Inflation down by 6.6 percent in September

The cost of living index in September 2023, compared to the same month in 2022, recorded an increase of 6.6 percent, while the retail price index recorded an increase of 4.7 percent. According to the data from the State Statistics Office, a decrease in the indices of the cost of living in September was observed in fresh and chilled weapons by 2.7 percent, oil and fats by 1.7 percent, fresh and chilled vegetables, except for potatoes and other root fruits by 1.3 percent and milk by 0.4 percent.

There is also a decrease in air passenger transport, by as much as 34.8 percent, in tourist arrangements by 7.1 percent, household products – non-durable by 0.8 percent. An increase in the cost of living last month, on the other hand, was recorded for spirits by 2.3 percent, eggs by 2 percent, wine by 1.9 percent, cheese and cottage cheese by 1.2 percent, etc.
