For the past twenty days, the import of apples from Serbia, Albania and even from Moldova has been allowed in Macedonia to the detriment of Macedonian quality apples, and also in this region the purchase price is far below the production price, while the end consumer in the markets all over Macedonia buys an expensive apple.
“In a few months from now, a new Government will come to the Republic of Macedonia, which will really show how with ideas, with concrete vision and measures, it will restore the dignity of the Macedonian farmer,” says Cvetan Tripunovski from the ranks of opposition VMRO-DPMNE.
