The average monthly net wage paid per employee in August was MKD 36,390 (EUR 591), up by 14.2 percent compared to the same month in 2022, said the State Statistical Office (SSO) on Friday.
This increase is caused by the increase of the average monthly net wage paid per employee in sectors Administrative and support service activities (21.6%), Education (17.5%) and Construction (16.5%).
An increase in the average monthly net wage paid per employee compared to the previous month was recorded in sectors Mining and quarrying (3.8%) Administrative and support service activities (3.3%) and Accommodation and food service activities (2.3%).
