Macedonian President Stevo Pendarovski says that the evaluation of his term should be given by the citizens, and therefore, in addition to party support, the evaluation of the citizens is also important to him.
Pendarovski stated this in Wednesday night’s interview with Shenja TV, where he was asked about his intentions to run for a second term.
“The president stated that he needs the support of the parties that stood behind his candidacy in the previous elections, but he emphasized that the support of those citizens who are not members of political parties, from people who are undecided or who rarely go out is equally important to him to vote, or else they think that all politicians are the same and their vote will not make a difference,” the President’s Office said on Thursday.
