Draft law on protected reporting and protection of whistleblowers published on ENER

In order to comply with the EU Directive 2019/1937 and overcome the shortcomings in the Law on Whistleblower Protection, a Draft Law on Protected Reporting and Whistleblower Protection has been prepared, informed the Ministry of Justice.

“We invite you to participate in the process and by December 24, 2023 to the Ministry of Justice (e-mail address: [email protected]) to submit comments and suggestions for improving the text, which is expected to be submitted as a draft law to the Government,” reads statement from the Ministry of Justice.

The draft law contains provisions for overcoming identified shortcomings that contribute to unsatisfactory application of the Law on Whistleblower Protection.
