The leader of VMRO-DPMNE HristijanMickoski, before Monday’s leaders’ meeting, emphasized that there would be no constitutional amendments until there was a clear European path for Macedonia and until Bulgaria renounced its hegemonic policies.
“Yesterday, a departing politician had an interview on a national media, saying that he is sure and claims that there will be constitutional changes now or in 6 months. Here I will tell you that there will be no constitutional amendments until we have a clear European path and until we see a clear shift of the hegemonic and assimilationist policies of our eastern neighbor towards the Macedonian community in Bulgaria,” said Mickoski.
