In order not to create greater political tensions, VMRO-DPMNE should nominate the ministers for Interior and for Labor and Social policy, as well as the deputy ministers, according to political analyst Vladimir Bozhinovski in an interview with Kurir.mk.
He points out that the caretaker government is important for SDSM, because through it the government wants to justify the agreement of former Prime Minister Zoran Zaev and Ali Ahmeti to appoint a caretaker prime minister from the ranks of DUI.
“If they did not have a caretaker government, it would be difficult for them to explain to the citizens why they are appointing a prime minister from DUI, instead of a prime minister from SDSM,” said Bozhinovski.
Bozhinovski also points out that with the participation of VMRO-DPMNE in the caretaker government, it is possible to influence the prevention of possible electoral bribery and electoral pressure that the government may exert, which was actually foreseen when the Przhino Government was formed.
