The extradition procedure is ongoing and everything is coming together, as we act and respond to all requests immediately, Macedonian Justice Minister KrenarLloga said commenting on the procedure for extradition of LjupchoPalevski, the prime suspect in the murder of VanjaGjorchevska and PancheZhezhovski, who is placed under extradition detention in Turkey.

The Ministry of Justice previously told reporters that the extradition request was compiled in one day and the suspect was immediately placed under extradition detention. The Justice Ministry noted that the extradition procedure in such cases takes several months, with the only exception of cases of abbreviated procedure when an individual accepts to be extradited. There is little possibility that Palevski will ask for asylum, because, as the Turkish authorities claim, an asylum request is submitted immediately after the person enters the country.

Prime suspect Palevski has been charged with abduction and murder.
