New Year’s Eve was generally calm and security was stable across the country, said Minister of Interior Oliver Spasovski during his visit to the Gjorche Petrov police center where he held work meetings on Monday
“Twelve crimes were recorded across the country, mostly related to drug trafficking, along with 20 public order violations, two traffic violations and eight traffic accidents,” Spasovski told reporters.
According to the minister, the number of traffic accidents is the lowest on record.
“There are more reports in Skopje and Tetovo considering the size of the population, but in general, security was absolutely favorable during the whole night,” said Spasovski.
