Either the directors of the M-NAV will be dismissed, or Air Traffic Control will close the airspace over Skopje. The further course of events in Air Traffic Control depends on the resignations or the dismissal. If the directors are not dismissed, the union says there is no other option but to close the skies above Skopje from Wednesday (January 10), primarily for the safety of passengers.
“We hope that the directors in M-NAV will be dismissed. Otherwise, the union will close the sky over Skopje from Wednesday, primarily for the safety of the passengers,” saidAleksandarTasevski, head of the Air Traffic Control union.
The union objected to the latest employment advertisement. This was followed by a break-in and physical assault at the Air Traffic Control.
