After the solemn statement of the ministers in the newly elected caretaker government, caretaker Prime Minister Talat Xhaferi gave his first media statement in the Albanian language. He first spoke in Albanian, then in Macedonian. He pointed out that he had nothing special to add from what he said in the exposition during the presentation of the program and the composition of the Government from the Parliament rostrum.
“I can once again state, that, with respect, clear conscience and full responsibility, I accept the task which the citizens, through their representatives, have entrusted me with. I reaffirm that the work of the Government will be transparent, responsible, above all to the citizens and their representatives, in the interest and for the good of the citizens and the progress of the country,” said Xhaferi.
