Starting Thursday, Macedonian businesses whose cargo trucks are importing, exporting, or transiting through Serbia will only be weighed once, helping Macedonian businesses save time and money, said the Customs Administration of North Macedonia in a press release Thursday.
The move comes after the heads of the customs administration of N. Macedonia and Serbia, Stefan Bogoev and Branko Radujko, signed a Memorandum of Recognition of Cargo Vehicles Weighing Scale Receipts last month.
“The weighing scale receipts from the Serbian Customs Administration will be valid in Macedonia, and vice versa,” said Bogoev.
