Opposition’s rating on the rise – VMRO-DPMNE has a double advantage over SDSM in Electoral Units 2 and 6

VMRO-DPMNE has a double advantage over the ruling SDSM, according to the latest survey of citizens’ public opinion, conducted by the Skopje Institute for Political Research for the needs of the Macedonian Radio Television – MRT.

When asked which party you will vote for in the upcoming parliamentary elections, VMRO-DPMNE has a double advantage over SDSM, that is, as many as 19.4 percent of citizens support VMRO-DPMNE, while only 10 percent support SDSM. Third with support from the citizens is DUI 6.5 percent, but the European Association for Change has a significant growth with 5.4 percent, while ZNAM has the support of 4.5 percent, Levica 3.9 percent, Alliance of Albanians close to 2 percent, while even 22 percent of the surveyed citizens answered for no party, 13.8 percent do not want to say, while even 11.5 percent do not know or have no answer.

In electoral unit 6, DUI has the highest support of 17.9 percent, but very close or 16 percent is immediately followed by the European Association for Change, while from the Macedonian block third is VMRO-DPMNE with 8.1 percent, then Alliance of Albanians with 7 percent, and fifth with the support of the citizens is the ruling SDSM with only 4.4 percent, that is, in this electoral unit as well, VMRO-DPMNE has a double advantage over SDSM.

Furthermore, when asked which party you think will win the next parliamentary elections, VMRO-DPMNE has an advantage of almost three times more than SDSM in electoral unit 2.

Namely, 28 percent of citizens answered that they think that VMRO-DPMNE will win, while only 10.3 percent think that SDSM will win. Third comes DUI from the Albanian bloc with 8.9 percent. ESP 4.6 percent, and ZNAM with 4 percent. Only 3.4 percent think that Levica would win, only 2.8 percent of AA, 9 percent answered none, 3.8 percent did not want to say, while 24.4 percent of respondents did not want to answer.

In electoral unit 6, 18.2 percent believed that DUI will win the next parliamentary elections, immediately or with 16.8 percent of the surveyed citizens believe that ESP will win, while only 6.2 percent believe that AA will win. VMRO-DPMNE is third with 10.6 percent, or four times more compared to the ruling SDSM, for which only 2.6 percent said they think it will win.

Only one percent believes that Levica and ZNAM would win, while 10.7 percent answered that they do not think that any party will win.
