SDSM leader DimitarKovachevski told MIA in an interview that the party’s presidential candidate will share the European values and not spread divisions on any grounds, noting that incumbent Macedonian President StevoPendarovski has been doing an excellent job over the past five years.
“I would not like to single out any candidate at this time considering that it is neither statutory nor ethical on my part. However, I will just point out that since most of the questions revolve around whether President Pendarovski will run for a second term, I believe that he performed his duties very well during the past five years, he represented exactly the values that I just said, but also that our party shares, the values shared by our coalition, i.e. the coalition partners of the Social Democratic Union of Macedonia,” Kovachevski said in the interview.
