VMRO-DPMNE will reduce corruption in urban planning with two software projects

The first one, e-urbanism or e-space, means reducing the procedures and the time you have to wait for the competent institutions to respond. Now, a project requires an opinion from institutions such as MEPSO, EVN, utility companies, ministries and other institutions such as the Institute for Cultural and Historical Heritage. The plan of VMRO-DPMNE is to digitize this, or for the person who prepares the urban plan to obtain the information with a software tool instead of running around institutions. This will reduce the impact of the human factor, and speed up the process of obtaining information and documents. This will lead to a transparent and corruption-free process, VMRO-DPMNE said in a press release on Monday.

“The second one, BIM software or BIM tool, would be used by planners and institutions who, in the process of obtaining a building permit, will be able to insert the project itself, and the tool will give me an answer as to whether the project corresponds to the urban principles. And with this, the idea is to speed up the process of granting a building permit. Or this is how transparency will increase and corruption will decrease,” said the main opposition party.
