Prochka (Forgiveness Sunday) – a day when we should ask for forgiveness from those we have knowingly or unknowingly wronged and to forgive those who have knowingly or unknowingly wronged us. To the current ignorant Macedonian politicians and to the current manipulative Macedonian President Stevo Pendarovski, because of the destruction of Macedonia and because of the surrender and sale of everything that is Macedonian, I forgive them and pray for them: “Lord, forgive them, for they know not what they do!” (Luke 23:34). But I won’t forget… Will you?” said says Academician Ljupcho Kocarev, a member of the Macedonian Academy of Sciences and Arts MANU, in his opinion piece titled “Forgiveness: faith versus science”.
In his opinion piece, Kocarev also says:
“Forgiveness is a conscious decision that involves letting go of our resentment, indignation, or anger as a result of something that, knowingly or unknowingly, has been done to us. Forgiveness is different from approval, justification, forgetting, or reconciliation,” wrote Kocarev.
