Customs and MoI seize 22 vehicles with foreign registration plates

As part of a two-day joint action, the Customs Administration and the Ministry of Interior seized 22 motor vehicles with foreign registration plates that were driven by Macedonian nationals, said the Customs Administration in a press release on Monday.

“Vehicles from various manufactures have been seized, including four Mercedes passenger vehicles, three Audi passenger vehicles, two BMW passenger vehicles, one Tesla freight vehicle. All vehicles were driven by Macedonian national on the territory of the Republic of North Macedonia for more than six months,” reads the press release.

The vehicles were seized since the drivers failed to initiate the appropriate customs procedure for the import or temporary import of the vehicles.
