Croatia to raise wages for Macedonian seasonal workers

With the increasing need for seasonal workers, Croatia will be a popular destination for many Macedonians looking for better working conditions and wages next summer.
In recent years, the number of issued work permits in Croatia for Macedonian nationals has increased significantly, reaching 10,053 in 2022.
Seasonal work in Croatia attracts with salary offers that significantly exceed local standards, and this year the new thing is that the seasonal workers have decided to stand firmly on the position that they will not work for a salary lower than 1,300 euros per month.
This trend reflects the growing need for skilled workers in various sectors, especially in hospitality and tourism, where seasonal workers are crucial to the successful functioning of the local economy.
