Additional Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management Cvetan Tripunovski informed the public in Facebook post of a record trade deficit in 2023 for agricultural and food products, in the amount of 436 million euros.
“Record trade deficit in 2023 in the amount of 436 million euros! This is how SDS destroys Macedonian agriculture, Macedonia with SDS has become a country dependent on food imports!
The disregard for Macedonian farmers and the totally wrong agricultural policies of the SDS forced the farmers to leave the field, and with that the Macedonian citizens to eat imported agricultural products,” reads Tripunovski’s post.
