The silence begins at midnight, which ends on the day of the vote at 7 p.m. Despite the election silence for the presidential elections, the election campaign for the parliamentary elections on May 8 will take place and will not be interrupted.
Voters in the seventh presidential elections will choose one of the seven presidential candidates – five men and two women. The candidates are the current President Stevo Pendarovski backed by SDSM and the coalition, Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova backed by VMRO-DPMNE, Levica’s candidate Biljana Vakovska, Maksim Dimitrievski – ZNAM, Stevcho Jakimovska – GROM, Arben Taravari from the Worth It coalition and Bujar Osmani backed by the European Front.
